MacScreencasting is the place to share best practices for creating outstanding screencasts on your Mac. It’s by Scott Skibell.

I have nearly 20 years of training experience. And as a e-learning leader, I quickly embraced screencasting tools beginning with Lotus Screencam and Windows 95. Ah yes, those were the days! Nowadays we have better hardware, better applications, and an infrastructure that allows us to share our screencast creations. Screencasting has truly come a long way.

MacScreencasting is about using your whole Mac to create memorable screencasts. It’s about combining screencasting software with iMovie and Keynote. It’s about applying different production techniques to get the most out of screencasting. And, it’s about digital storytelling & presenting so your presentations are more engaging & effective.

In my various training leadership roles, I’ve led the production of hundreds of screencasts. It’s been a journey to say the least. Along the way I’ve learned a lot. And here, I hope to share some of those lessons with you.

Thanks for stopping by.
